I forget, at times, that some of you are Newbies at this internet marketing game. I, myself, have been on the internet so long that sometimes I forget that some of you are rookies at this marketing game.

Marketing your on-line business is not unlike marketing a brick and mortar store. If no one knows that you have a business; how are they to find you? Advertisement!

The best form of advertisement is always word of mouth. If someone recommends your product or service, there is no better endorsement. In order to get those endorsements you need to have satisfied customers. How do you get satisfied customers? Through advertisement and service! Before you can have satisfied customers, you need customers.

Traffic Exchanges provide a way of getting your product, service, opportunity out to people you do not know. Most exchanges will let you sign up for free and exchange your views of other members ads for views of your ads. Most will even let you buy the views/visitors to your ad and/or page.

On the internet, as in real world business, you must create a brand for yourself. Why do you think that big corporations, such as Wal-Mart, have the same logo in every ad you see. They want to build recognition.

I (the real me, Hammer) use the same picture and name (or variation of) on every site that I belong to. Why? Because it builds recognition. If you hit most of the social networking sites; people know who I am by recognition, if not by name.

Be consistent in your marketing endeavors and it will pay dividends in the long run. Word of mouth will spread and you will develop recognition and respect if your dealings are upright.

Use the traffic exchanges to spread that recognition. Provide your referrals with support to build that respect. Don't lead your downlines into every hair-brained scheme on the net. If you treat them well and only give them honest opinions of the opportunities laid out before them; you will build a loyal following.
